| The Medusa Cable allows you to interface your Bogner Ecstasy amplifier with a Midi Switching system such as offered from companies like Voodoo Lab, Custom Audio Electronics, RJM and Axess Electronics. Please consult with these companies for info on available models which are compatible with the Ecstasy. Important to mention is that the channels are switched via short impulses through momentary switches. If latching (steady) switches are used then the active channel, closed latching switch, needs to be turn off before the next channel is turned on otherwise there could be a conflict. The Ecstasy amp is not Midi but this Medusa Cable is your ticket to switching your amps seven foot controllable functions easily through a Midi Switching system. The Medusa Cable replaces your foot switch and connects to the rear panel foot switch jack. There are seven 1/4" plugs on the other end that plug into your Midi Switching System. The seven 1/4" jacks are labeled 1 through 7 to correspond to foot switch functions above. See the chart above for the designated Momentary or Latching/Steady type of switching the Bogner Ecstasy uses for each of the seven functions. Be sure to consult you Midi Switching systems manual to configure their unit properly for either momentary or latching/steady modes for each function. |
