Band: Illya Kuryaki and the Valderramas
Matias Rada is an internationally acclaimed Latin Funk-Rock guitarist.
Matias began playing guitar at a young age alongside his father, Latin
Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award Winner, Ruben Rada. In 2005 Matias
began performing professionally with his father and toured throughout
North America, Europe and Asia as part of Ruben Rada’s band.
In 2011 Matias began a fruitful relationship with Latin Alternative
band, Illya Kuryaki and the Valderramas.Since then, Matias has performed
in IKV’s Latin Grammy Award winning album “Chances” and toured all
across South America and the US; including performing at SXSW in Austin
and the Latin Alternative Music Conference in 2014. |
